Smallpeice biomedical engineering course

Nick

Nick recently welcomed a group of twenty-four 15-16 year old students participating on the Smallpeice Biomedical Engineering course at the University of Southampton. The kids were introduced to a number of lab techniques during their visit, including stem cell culture, histology and molecular biology, as well as more bioengineering-y stuff like fracture fixation, motion analysis and ultrasounds techniques. Members of the group Edo and Dan did a great job enthusing the students, and Nick evan got to tell a couple of (bad) jokes at the formal dinner. A detailed write-up can be found here
